About Ludwig Chiropractic Center in Auburn

We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the community since the opening of our practice in Bonney Lake back in 1982. We moved our office to Lakeland Town Center in 2003 to meet the needs and for the convenience of the people in Lakeland Hills and the surrounding Lake Tapps community.

Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. And while we very often meet people in pain or after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold:

1. Relief Care

When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

  • Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem

  • Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible

Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery

Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Wellness Care

We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), Health Talks, books and literature, we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care and those things that can enhance a healthy life. Our desire is to see our patients abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.

Chiropractic Care At Your Own Pace

The fact that a person is in my office means that they have come to me for help. If they could have corrected this condition on their own they would have. So, I see my job as determining the cause of your health problem and then recommending the finest chiropractic care possible. I see your job as deciding how much care you want and how quickly you want to proceed. That's how I would want to be treated. It’s your body, your health and ultimately your choice. I think that makes sense and sounds fair. Don't you? If you have any questions please contact our office to make an appointment.

Dr. Ludwig Asks some important questions of interest to Auburn residents - Chiropractor Auburn Dr. Ludwig Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
